Ballarat Wildlife Park (http://www.wildlifepark.com.au/) Set on sixteen acres, the park hosts a myriad of native wildlife and some more exotic reptiles and snakes. A guided tour runs daily at 11:00am.
The Tangled Maze (http://tangledmaze.com.au/) A short drive from Ballarat is the Tangled Maze, based in nearby Creswick. As well as the botanical maze, it contains giant chess, mini-golf, and an extensive nursery.
Ballarat Ghost Tours (http://www.eerietours.com.au/) Ballarat has a long and somewhat bloody history, so it isn't surprising that there are stories of many local ghosts. For some paranormal fun, why not join one the three tours offered? Tours run Wednesday to Saturday.
