That was my first ever KSP.
I think it is a shame we couldn't go through with the document-projected
method, even if all the chaos was more interactive. More time for
scrutinising ID and no social pressure to conform could only improve the
process.
Giving every ID the scrutiny it requires is hard when you've bee
standing around for an hour and have three people sticking their ID in
your face and demanding that you verify you checked your fingerprint and
md5s for the 100th time.
I have to admit, I do recall seeing the transnational ID and barely
giving it a second thought seeing as how I had seen Martin, obviously
known to others under that name, giving a talk or two earlier in the
day. To be honest, after having read the pertinent information, I am far
more confident as to his identity than I could be for randoms with two
passports and three drivers licenses.
Actually, that might be a little suss... :P
